Cancellation of the 17th Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Fair

We are currently experiencing very important events (Covid 19 pandemic — closures...) which greatly insecurity the population. We contacted the SAQ and the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion regarding our Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Show to find out their position in the face of our event.

Given the rules established by the Government of Quebec, our event is considered non-essential and we believe that the rule of groups of less than 250 people is not about to be abolished.

Considering these two framework points and the position of the two partners essential to the realization of our show, we are forced to cancel the Vaudreuil-Soulanges wine show, which was supposed to take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in one of the arenas in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Postponing it to another date this year seems very difficult to us considering the planning of other activities in our region.

The organizing committee of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Show will meet to analyze the event and establish a new strategy.

The members of the Organizing Committee of the Salon des Vins and the Foundation (FCHVS) would like to thank all the partners essential to the realization of our show: wine agencies, gastronomic partners, the SAQ, the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion as well as many other partners who support our charitable event for the cause of the future hospital center of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

Local and regional actors, elected officials, business people and citizens have shown their support in the past by coming to the wine fair in large numbers.

Thank you for your support and encouragement, we look forward to seeing you again next season.
